(She's not vegan, so I'm looking at things that aren't too "out there.")
Anyway, rereading this post, I noticed you mentioned the left-over mashed potatoes in your first sentence. Clearly, I didn't process what I'd read. :-(
Jane of VeganBits.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8947277095635982390.post-44289190229865605542008-03-01T17:17:00.000-05:002008-03-01T17:17:00.000-05:00Looks good! Be sure to write to me if you have any questions about any of the recipes. By the way, I posted a corrections page on my website to address typos found in VP (it happens!) Also FYI, Vegan Fire & Spice is not yet available in bookstores. You can order it on Amazon or through my website at www.robinrobertson.com at a 20% discount. Another option is to ask your local independent bookstore to contact us about carrying a few copies in their store. Thanks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8947277095635982390.post-52667881922744511432008-02-29T08:07:00.000-05:002008-02-29T08:07:00.000-05:00Thanks for the tip about the mashed potatoes, Jane...Thanks for the tip about the mashed potatoes, Jane. I usually do that too, but this time there were no leftover mashers in the fridge. This variation is quicker than the Vegan Planet original and can be quicker still if you substitute a bag of organic frozen veggies to save some choppingAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8947277095635982390.post-66903943159046246992008-02-28T23:12:00.000-05:002008-02-28T23:12:00.000-05:00Hello! I am completely in love with the two cookbooks of yours I've found: Vegetarian Meat and Potatoes and (just purchased today) Vegan Planet. Though I can't seem to yet find it in Canada, I am very much looking forward to Vegan Fire and Spice. I love spice! I tried your peanut-spinach dish from VegNews and it was incredible. Thanks for being so awesome. :)vijitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06738176744648065432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8947277095635982390.post-61274424027704552732008-02-28T17:27:00.000-05:002008-02-28T17:27:00.000-05:00I love this recipe in Vegan Planet... I double the potatoes, and then just put away the portion I'll need for the shepherd's pie. Just to be on the safe side!
Jane of VeganBits.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
