Party Vegan Winner!

A big thanks to everyone who entered the Party Vegan giveaway — for a grand total of 123 comments!

As you know there can only be one winner and I’m glad I can pass along that difficult task to the trusty Random.org random number generator. The winner is: Panda with Cookie — congrats!! (Please send me your mailing address and I’ll get a copy of Party Vegan in the mail to you right away.)

Thanks again to everyone who entered for all your great comments. It was fun to celebrate LeBefana with you all.

Almost forgot...can't leave without posting a food photo!  The lovely photo below was taken by recipe tester and food photographer Lori Maffei.  It's the Maple-Pecan Baked Pears from my upcoming book.

Hooray for Panda!

yay Panda With a Cookie!

Well, don't leave us hanging... What's the new cookbook about?!

Congrats to Panda with Cookie which is actually something I'd like to see.LOL.
Do you know you're my favorite vegan cookbook author but when? when? will you publish one that's GF and soy free as well? Guess I'm just too lazy to keep coming up with substitutions myself and you are obviously still incredibly full of ideas even after all the books you've published. It's something to think about, yes?

Hi Tamara! The new cookbook is called "Quick-Fix Vegan" -- it's a follow-up book to Quick-Fix Vegetarian (which is also 100% vegan). The new book will have 150 new recipes, all with 30 mintues or less of active time. It comes out sometime in the fall.

Hi Laurel! Yes, a gluten-free and soy-free book is definitely something to think about. Until that happens, the new book will have a recipe for "Freeburgers" that are both gf and sf. It's a beginning! ;)

Yay! That's something to look forward to! BTW, I just served the muffaletta from Vegan Planet at a football game party to a bunch of omni's who failed to comment on the lack of meat. In our house, we call that thing "The Sandwich."
